Abstract- The 21st century has seen transformative shifts in education systems worldwide, driven by technological advancements, societal changes, and evolving global demands. The development of education policies in this century has been significantly influenced by key global events such as the rise of digital technologies, the push for inclusive education, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the increasing emphasis on lifelong learning. This paper explores the major events shaping education policies, focusing on how these developments have prompted changes in curricula, access to education, teaching methods, and education technology. It also discusses the impact of globalization, economic inequalities, and the growing demand for new skills in a rapidly changing labor market.
