Abstract- This article explores the impact of motivational factors on the performance of workers in the automobile sector. A self-constructed questionnaire was utilized, employing a simple random sampling method to gather responses from 100 employees at the NFK automobile industry in Chennai. The findings indicated that the gender of employees had a moderate effect on the current work environment at NFK. Additionally, the research revealed that motivational factors associated with compensation and employee productivity had a negligible influence on their current performance, with the exception of the work environment. The study concluded that addressing current needs and recognizing future demands of employees could enhance motivation and boost overall productivity.
