Abstract: Corporate Innovation Funds (CIFs) have emerged as critical vehicles for promoting sustainability-driven technological advancements. Positioned at the intersection of corporate strategy, environmental responsibility, and entrepreneurial innovation, these funds enable firms to invest in emerging technologies aligned with long-term goals. This paper explores the structure, strategic value, and policy implications of CIFs with a focus on India. It integrates theoretical frameworks such as stakeholder theory and innovation diffusion to assess how CIFs act as catalysts for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through global and Indian case studies, it evaluates the successes, limitations, and opportunities within this funding model.
