Abstract: The Lemur Theory (TLT) is an original philosophical and conceptual framework developed to explain the complementary role of creativity and innovation in achieving sustainable success. The theory was developed using an interpretivist philosophical paradigm and a conceptual theory-development research design. The findings established that creativity generates original and purposeful ideas, innovation transforms those ideas into practical and sustainable achievements, and the continuous interaction between these complementary traits promotes resilience, adaptability, continuous learning, organizational effectiveness, environmental stewardship, and long-term development. The study further developed the philosophical foundations, conceptual foundations, theoretical propositions, assumptions, core principles, conceptual and philosophical framework, mathematical representation, statistical model, and practical applications of the Lemur Theory. The study concludes that sustainable success is best achieved when creativity and innovation operate together within an enabling environment characterized by effective leadership, continuous learning, collaboration, responsible resource utilization, supportive organizational culture, ethical responsibility, and adaptability to change.
