Abstract: Workplace security is a fundamental aspect of every successful organization because it protects employees, physical assets, digital information, and business operations from a wide range of threats. In today’s technology-driven environment, organizations face increasingly complex security challenges that include cyberattacks, insider threats, physical intrusions, social engineering, ransomware, and data breaches. These threats can result in financial losses, operational disruptions, legal consequences, and damage to an organization’s reputation. Therefore, maintaining a secure workplace requires more than installing security systems or antivirus software; it demands a comprehensive strategy that combines physical security, cybersecurity, employee awareness, effective policies, and strong leadership. This paper explores the key components of workplace security, discusses common threats faced by organizations, and examines practical strategies for reducing security risks. It concludes that developing a strong security culture, supported by continuous employee education and proactive risk management, is essential for creating a safe, productive, and resilient working environment.
