Abstract: The present papers discuss about the impact of environmental factors on non – communicable diseases in India. This paper is qualitative in nature. Secondary data have been used to study the influence of environment on non – communicable diseases including cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic, respiratory, diseases and diabetes. The paper also reveals the risk factors of non – communicable diseases such as Behavioural risk factor and Metabolic risk factors. This paper also explores the socio-economic and environmental impacts on non – communicable diseases in society. This paper also discloses the preventive measures of Noncommunicable diseases.
