Abstract: This study examines the significance of continuous assessment in improving learners' performance in Mathematics in secondary schools under the Zambian Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Continuous assessment is an ongoing process of evaluating learners through class exercises, assignments, projects, tests, observations, and practical activities. It provides regular feedback to both teachers and learners, enabling timely interventions to improve learning outcomes. The study concludes that effective implementation of continuous assessment enhances learners' understanding of mathematical concepts, promotes positive attitudes towards Mathematics, and improves academic achievement.
