Abstract: This paper examines how contemporary women writers from the Global South use digital storytelling as a feminist practice to rethink empowerment beyond dominant Western frameworks. Drawing on postcolonial feminism, intersectionality, and digital feminist theory, it argues that digital platforms can serve as counter-hegemonic spaces where marginalized women express agency, resistance, and collective memory. Through close readings of writers such as Meena Kandasamy and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the paper shows that empowerment in Global South feminist writing is best understood as relational, contextual, and ongoing rather than universal or purely individual.
