Abstract: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are important components of working capital management, particularly in the logistics industry where customer invoices, transport-related expenses, vendor settlements and other financial transactions occur regularly. This study examines the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management practices at Zenith Logistics and evaluates their role in cash flow management and financial efficiency. The study is based on practical exposure gained during an internship in the Accounts Department, including maintaining financial records, verifying invoices, updating financial data, processing transactions and assisting with routine accounting activities. Primary data were collected from 50 employees through a structured questionnaire using convenience sampling. Percentage analysis and Microsoft Excel were used for analysis and presentation. The findings show that 68% believe customer payments are received on time, 72% believe vendor payments are made on time, and 44% are satisfied with the overall receivable and payable management system. Further, 84% perceive receivable management as positive or very positive for cash flow, while 78% agree or strongly agree that further improvement is required. The study concludes that timely collection of receivables and prompt settlement of payables support liquidity, operational continuity and financial decision-making. Regular ageing analysis, systematic follow-up, stronger documentation, digital accounting systems and financial analytics are recommended.
