Abstract: Language is an important part of human life. Language is not merely a medium for speaking or writing; it also helps people think, understand the world, and express their emotions. From childhood, language shapes a child’s thinking, learning ability, and communication skills. The words a person uses and the way they speak affect their thoughts, behavior, and understanding. Language also deeply influences society and culture. Through language, people transmit their traditions, values, and knowledge to one another. In different situations, different forms of language are used. Formal language is used in schools, books, and government work, while informal language is used in daily conversation with family and friends. Both types of language are important because they assist in different kinds of communication. The impact of language is not limited only to children; it also affects adults. The type of language a person uses influences their thinking and their ability to express their thoughts. For children, language is especially important because it aids in the development of their vocabulary, thinking power, and self-confidence. The kind of language children are exposed to at home, school, and in society significantly shapes their learning and development. Most languages have more than one form. Typically, there is a simple form used in daily life and a second, formal and pure form. This difference helps language adapt to various situations. This distinction is clearly visible in the Hindi language as well. Colloquial Hindi is used in daily life, while standard (pure) Hindi is used in education, literature, and government work. Colloquial Hindi and bookish Hindi are different. They not only affect people’s conversation and culture. Types of Hindi, heard and learned, affect a child’s language, thinking, and studies.
